"Shit! We're out of a job!" - Brony Analysts Everywhere

Hasbro, well-known to hijack and repurpose concepts from the fandom (including but not limited to: Names, Artwork, Character Designs, Memes, and even conventions) have gone the extra mile and have begun releasing their own reaction video series to MLP episodes; "PonyChat".

It has childish humor, bad acting, terrible scripting, shitty memes, and a tone of being a paid-shill-fest.

So basically, it's probably BETTER than most brony-produce reaction / "analysis" videos.

New Movie Toys Revealed

Ahead of the New York Toy Fair this weekend, Hasbro released pictures of a bunch of toys based on the movie coming in October. Shown above is a "Kingdom of Seaquestria" set, which comes with Queen Novo and Spike the Pufferfish. (?!) More toys announced can be found below.

Guardians of Harmony Comic Released; HN Writer Proven Wrong

For some reason, Hasbro decided to release yesterday, unannounced, the first issue of the new Guardians of Harmony comic. As I'm sure our longtime readers are aware, we at HN tend to be critical of both the IDW comics as well as the author of this particular one, and even predicted doom for it.

Imagine our surprise when it turned out to be pretty good.

TL;DW: Hasbro stalled a year and a half of JanAnimation's time by slowly talking to him about his C&D, likely in hopes that he'd lose interest. Before leaving him, Hasbro's lawyers forbade Jan from re-uploading the taken down videos and creating more videos about the show.

Hasbro pisses off everyone everywhere yet again

So a bit of confusion took place over the last few days. Earlier we reported how Hasbro "confirmed" Season 6 to be coming out later on this year, which would be the shortest hiatus we've ever had. As it turns out, Hasbro fucked up. Again. Pissing off everyone everywhere for the umpteenth time.

Today, Hasbro announced the launch of a new project called "Toybox Tools", an toyline initiative aimed at persons with developmental disabilities. In cooperation with The Autism Project, Hasbro has compiled a series of toys for those with Autism.
