SDCC 2016 MLP Panel Summary

Another San Diego Comic Con panel has come and gone, and though Horse News was not able to be there ourselves, we can give you a summary of the information of the panel. As you can tell by the header, many found it to be a let down. Find it after the jump.

If you thought the constant shilling for shekels selling of Equestria Girls toys was enough as it is, boy have we a disappointment for you. This one comes to us from Smyths Toys Superstores, under the name "Equestria Girls Minis."

Josh Haber Interview from NMND 2015

It's hard to believe, but between watching divegrass, getting drunk, but mostly standing around awkwardly at this year's Nightmare Nights Dallas, Horse News actually managed to score a few interviews.

One of them was with Josh Haber, mostly known for his Twitter account, but also for writing Friendship Games and quite a few MLP episodes, including the Season 5 finale (just look them all up on Wikipedia, we are not gonna spoon-feed you beyond that). And because we are slow as fuck we want to make this hiatus a little more bearable, we waited until now to post it.

Crazed Horse News Intern Finally Put Over The Edge; 2 Injured

Recently the Horse News office staff has been in a very good mood: The prolonged hiatus is ending this weekend, Babscon is also this weekend, and Newsie is finally getting laid on a daily basis. This unfortunately wasn’t enough for one Horse News intern, who had ‘broken his last straw’ earlier this morning. "Future Mom" Twilight Sparkle - Purple Smart is knocked up

Prior to the release of Equestria Girls, there was a site called "StarSue" (we assume that's the name of the Hasbro C&D team) that released a series of flash games vaguely related to the movie. Many wrote them off as being fake, as some of the characters hadn't been revealed yet. Turns out they were legit.

Well we can only hope that these games are legit too, because Twilight Sparkle is sporting a bigass baby bump as you take her on a maternity fashion shopping spree.

Everything we know about EQG3 so far - a lot actually

So typically we outright ignore the toys Hasbro puts out, because very rarely do they have anything to do with the future of the show. For instance, have yet to see Applejack's Truck tooling around Canterlot. This video however is different. Like, really different, in that it's basically 100% spoilers.

Let's break down what the presenter says in this Toy Fair display.

Pony Confirmed for 2017 and beyond

That's a checkbox for "content" in 2017 and beyond
That Checkbox is for My Little Pony
That means they're planning on making MLP content for at least another 3 years - A movie investment in Each 2015, 2016, 2017 and Television seasons in Each.

That "5 more years" quote is further confirmed.
