No that's definitely still Ashleigh and Andrea. But in this one they just spend most of their time screaming or screeching. For the brief talking bit though, I actually liked it even better than their speaking roles in ep 100 since it seems Ashleigh and Andrea have added more depth to the voices (they just kinda sounded like Pinkie Pie and a non-scratchy-voiced RBD.) I assume that's because they've probably recorded a lot more lines as L+BB now.
I've never really had much problem with EqG, but I'm pleasantly surprised at this. They're really trying to give this sub-series a personality, which along with all the "ponys not hoomans" was probably the biggest compaint of the whole thing from the first announcement and even the first movie.
Of course, whether someone likes said personality is all up to them.
This is going to be a running joke with these two. In every appearance they make, they'll be the most obvious lesbians ever, but they'll keep referring to each other as BEST FRIENDS with all these nudges and winks to the audience. And it's probably not gonna stop until Hasbro relents and lets the show staff have them fuck on a public bench.

Why are you acting surprised? EqG has always been far better than FiM.

ReplyDeleteSo progressive I want to puke and laugh at the same time.
did you watch the video or just spew shit after seeing the still screen?
DeleteDon't worry, I watched the thing. And this is not one of those cases where context changes something.
DeleteHey, here's an interesting thought - do you think characters who were earth ponies in Equestria are also stronger in the human world?
DeleteIt's a fucking cartoon, /v/tard. Get over it.
DeleteWell that made me want to shoot myself to remove the memory.
ReplyDeleteI like the direction EQG is going. It's is very anime-ish and less barbie-ish. XD Thank Celestia. :3
