Anon finds creative use for MLP Mini Dakis - Photography

An Anon on /mlp/ today asked a simple question: "So what´s the actual point in buying these? You can´t even cuddle with this thing." The 'thing' the anon was referencing is a mini, pocket-sized body-pillow featuring MLP art. A rather creative anon sought to demonstrate the utility of the pint-sized perverted pony pillows personally, pretty phenomenally, posting of photographs posing plastic people propped parallel pillow-side.

CSImadmax was a cornerstone of the early fandom. Her artwork dates back to 2010 and are some of the most memorable and recognizable pieces of fanart in the community. She was frequently featured on EQD and was beloved by many. And one day in August 2014...she vanished from the Internet...or so it seems.

For 4 years, fans have held out hope that she would return, and some have even launched investigations in hopes of getting some closure, to no avail. Rumors and speculation swirl.

AnimatedJames jumps ship, discontinues his Youtube and Twitter Channels

AnimatedJames, long-time fandom animator and well-known furry porn artist has decided to discontinue his AnimatedJames Youtube Channel and Twitter Account today in a series of tweets and explanation videos. He claims he will not be deleting any of his content in the fashion that so many others who have fled the fandom in the past, but it is unclear what the future will hold for his material.

So here in South Korea, McDonalds has had My Little Pony toys for the last few weeks. I didn't really pay any attention to this, unaware that this wasn't a global thing. I also have been trying to be less Amerifat here and haven't eaten any McDonalds in a while, but decided to go try and get one of the toys before they were all gone.

The only character that they had left was Alicorn Princess Twilight, who comes with a small diary that you open using the figure as a key.

The cover of the diary, seemed....oddly familiar. A facial expression that I never recall seeing in the show itself, but many times in a Youtube video from years ago...

Canterlot Rage-io: Mod discovers 3-year-old meme, gets triggered, decried for censorship

Last week, an admin of the Canterlot Radio Facebook page made a post that has drawn a lot of attention for 2 reasons. First, many believe it is a call for censorship of artwork (something that's...ya know...not usually cool) and second, because it is one of the worst slowpokes in fandom history. The post, which has since been edited, references the "Doing Hurtful Things to your Waifu" meme that has been in circulation in the fandom since at least early February.....of 2013. The meme, which is 3 years old, is potentially even older than Canterlot Radio itself, which according to twitter, was also founded in February of 2013.

The admin expressed shock and disgust at the Fluttershy version of the image, which has over 100 variations. They also expressed surprise when informed that there are others, of this incredibly popular, widely-distributed class of images (the anti-version of the meme has been featured repeatedly on Equestria Daily, and other such sites for years).

It didn't take long for followers to voice their concerns about the perceived call (albeit fruitless) for censorship.

The Further Downfall of IDW: The Friends Forever Issue #24 Fiasco

A couple weeks back, the twenty fourth issue of the Friends Forever series was released. Written by Georgia Ball (who had previously written the eighth issue of IDW's Micro-Series, which was rather well received), it featured Rarity supporting Gilda's boffyball team while she designed their team uniform.

While Ball's writing was relatively solid, the comic failed spectacularly in other departments. More after the break.

Artist donates MLP styled casket to family of tragic 4-year-old victim (UPDATED)

Following the tragic loss of a 4 year old girl in a car crash, in a road-rage shooting, an artist from Texas named Trey Ganem has donated a casket to her family, to help her rest easy. The vessel, that will serve as the final resting place for the late Iliana "Lilly" Garcia, is sky blue and adorned with none-other than Rainbow Dash.

“That’s their final resting bed. You know, now we’re giving her what she enjoyed on earth,” said Ganem.

It is a very touching tribute, and our hearts go out to the Garcia family in this difficult time.

Millions of internet denizens have taken to sites like instagram, facebook and twitter to express their afro-inspired creativity in homage to the album, and soon to be released biopic, "Straight Outta Compton."
