PinkiePieSwear scrubs channel - Flutterwonder is gone
At the dawn of the pony fandom, there were a handful of songs that were almost universally regarded as some of the best music that the Brony fandom ever produced. Among them, were the likes of Sunshine and Celery Stalks, and Flutterwonder by the artist known as PinkiePieSwear. For over half a decade, these songs and many others have stood as wonderful bits of nostalgia for the old days of the fandom, and a goalpost of the quality of what new pony music should aspire to.
Today, it was discovered by some on /mlp/ that those songs are gone from view. PinkiePieSwear has scrubbed the channel clean of all content.

With the shut-down of TeamFourStar's YT page still fresh in peoples' minds and various big names in the community putting their two cents on the current state of affairs, Sony Music Entertainment has dropped huge bombs of copyright claims on My Little Pony fan music.

The fandom is no stranger to the endless onslaught of Cease and Desist letters, threats of legal action, and especially copyright claims. However it's been long assumed that pony-music-remixes, like most musical re-arrangements, were largely safe from such claims, as they fall into the realm of fair use. This doesn't seem to be the case, as numerous MLP remixes have begun receiving content claims from Sony Music, who are blocking the tracks on Youtube.

Brony DJ Legend Garnika Passes Away

We have sad news to report here at Horse News.
One of the most prominent performers in the brony music community, Kevin Garnika, has passed away suddenly earlier today following hospitalization from acute porteroxia. Garnika was known for his energetic performances at the biggest brony conventions such as BronyCon, BABSCon, and Equestria LA, as well as being a member of the funky DJ supegroup The SAVORY.
It's confirmed that @GarnikathePanda is in fact dead. Fucking dead. We @ team garnika want 2 thank you all for the crazy ride!

This was the scene on twitter moments ago, as self-proclaimed Brony Queen and the MILF with a thousand voices Tara Strong announces she's retiring her crown as Twilight Sparkle.
