The Mayor, stand-up comedian Cheese Sandwich, reports that armed security forces led by Pie Tin have managed to capture the derelict reactor and have forced staff to turn it off.

Maud Pie, the self proclaimed rightful ruler of Cheese Sandwich's campus and farm town in the East of Equestria, has released demands amidst her invasion for the immediate cessation of the conflict. Invading the shepherd's town of Ewe Crying and declaring herself 'Vladdy Maud Pie Tin' and 'Big Daddy Vladdy' she has been making similar demands for weeks that the rest of the Equestrian Council have repeatedly rebuffed as non-starters. The demands were relayed to our reporter by a mediator who listened in.

So, this week a picture of Selena Gomez was posted in which you can see a tiny Vinyl Scratch / DJ-Pon3 tattoo on her left hip. For some reason the internet, including the people at Equestria Daily fucking exploded over this, because none of them has ever bought a My Little Pony collectible dog tag before.

Canterlot Rage-io: Mod discovers 3-year-old meme, gets triggered, decried for censorship

Last week, an admin of the Canterlot Radio Facebook page made a post that has drawn a lot of attention for 2 reasons. First, many believe it is a call for censorship of artwork (something that's...ya know...not usually cool) and second, because it is one of the worst slowpokes in fandom history. The post, which has since been edited, references the "Doing Hurtful Things to your Waifu" meme that has been in circulation in the fandom since at least early February.....of 2013. The meme, which is 3 years old, is potentially even older than Canterlot Radio itself, which according to twitter, was also founded in February of 2013.

The admin expressed shock and disgust at the Fluttershy version of the image, which has over 100 variations. They also expressed surprise when informed that there are others, of this incredibly popular, widely-distributed class of images (the anti-version of the meme has been featured repeatedly on Equestria Daily, and other such sites for years).

It didn't take long for followers to voice their concerns about the perceived call (albeit fruitless) for censorship.

Ohh man. Some days, things just keep getting better and better. Apparently, we - Horse News - are actually receiving direct messages from one of Hasbro's Public Relations teams. This is of course a huge 180 degree turn from our assumption that Hasbro either has no idea we exist or hates us. Ya know; US. Those guys. Curse of February Lifted....kinda

With a mere 12 hours remaining in February, it seems that the curse of an annual massive shitstorm has been lifted. The month that had brought us the /co/ bans, Derpygate, Las Pegasus Unicon, Beiber Fever, /mlp/'s creation, Equestria Girls 1 and Twilicorn, has, in 2015 not yielded any noticeable amount of unrest, despite it's best efforts.
