Ask Fluffle Puff comes to an End

In a disappointing, but not unexpected turn of events, the creator of the much-beloved blog "Ask Fluffle Puff" has announced that the series as we know it is coming to a close. In a lengthy blog post, there are details of what is to come next, but that it will not be the same product as before, citing that the creator was stifled and unmotivated by needing to copy and mimic the style and characters of the original show. He also mentions some of the less desirable aspects of the fandom as being a demotivator. You can find all the details below, or over at the post.

IDW Announces New Comic Series

IDW today announced a new comic series that will replace the long-running Friends Forever line. Legends of Magic will, in its first arc, explore some of the biggest questions relating to the series: who really was Starswirl the Bearded? Where did cutie marks come from? And perhaps most importantly: Why are they not doing this in the damn show itself?

Hasbro officially marketing My Little Pony to all ages and genders - also other stuff news.

So it's been a busy few days. Emily Blunt will be blazing the 2017 movie. Supposedly Season 6 will start airing in May. Equestria Girls 4's name - Legend of Everfree - was confirmed. There's finally some decent toys coming out (a little too late in many opinions), and perhaps most interestingly, Hasbro is finally marketing My Little Pony towards Boys AND Girls, as well as "Adults" and "Millennials". And we thought we might never see the day.

The age of the "target demographic" speeches are now a thing of the past.

Obama and the Prime Minister of Japan discussed today the future of both countries and their partnership in Americas imperial conquest of mainland Asia, and what resources Japan requires to fulfill its duties to the American Overlords.

Their plans include bolstering Japan's military capabilities, removing pacifist regulations that prevent imperial expansion, and the transfer of moral support to the future imperial rulers of Asia. In an exponential increase of violence in Baltimore today, protesters launched attacks against police, with at least seven officers having received serious injuries and several police vehicles being destroyed. The National Guard has been called and a curfew is in place for the city.

The increased unrest comes only a few days after smaller incidents broke out among the protesters. Over the weekend, a few violent protesters took up arms against the Baltimore Police Department by smashing windows and throwing debris at riot police.

Holy shit, when was the last time we had a "tidbits"? I can't even remember! That's how long this fucking hiatus has been going on. MLP Fanfic Author throws self under oncoming train following negative fanfic comments (UPDATES)

On May 24th of 2014, Adam Smith, 19 of Atherton in the UK, committed suicide by throwing himself under the wheels of an oncoming passenger train. Only now, nearly 7 months later are details of the incident coming to light, and authorities are attributing negative comments on his My Little Pony Fanfiction as a factor. 

Adam was known by his tumblr handle "Galaxy Star" http://galaxy-stars-universe.tumblr.com/ as well as his accompanying Youtube channel, where he left the above message.

Hasbro Legal Team Strikes Down On Dangerous Unauthorized Apps

Around 1:30 AM this morning, a Reddit user posted a copy of what is presumed to be a DMCA notice from Hasbro Legal against multiple Windows Phone App store publishers, informing them of alleged infringement of multiple copyrights and intellectual properties. Horse News is on the scene trying to establish how Hasbro Legal found the apps in the first place, when Windows phones started to get apps, and who the hell even uses a Windows phone in the first place.
