EFNW Vendor Applications Open

The Seattle-based convention whose executive chairs love to ban anyone with whom they disagree are back and have announced vendor applications are now open.  This is a bit perplexing, as the same convention chair stated they had a 150 vendor deep wait list.  But if you want to take your chances on getting banned for being a mean bully, head on over and throw some of your cash away and remember: The guy running this con was the same one who ran the CMPC fiasco.

"Boycott EFNW" - MLP Convention Head goes on Twitter Rampage

Twitter users from around the world are calling for a boycott of Everfree Northwest today, after a series of over 100 tweets from the head of the convention, Kyle Elliott. Going by the Twitter handle "TheBigKyle1", the President of the Board that runs Everfree Northwest engaged in a dispute with fandom artist Midnight Premier who was removed from the staff of EFNW, following the situation at Crystal Mountain Pony Con. The resulting "turmoil" as the Vice Chair @ColeDaigneault described it, left the EFNW Executive team "shocked". They were not alone.

Pinkie Pie knows that GM + EFNW spells FUN

Sounds like GM Berrow (one of the cool staff members who actually puts up with our shenanigans without breaking a sweat) is making an appearance at EFNW this coming year. She also wrote today's episode. You know, the one where we think we know what Pinkie Pie does know, that other ponies don't know. I know that you know what I'm talking about but in case you don't know you should read so you do know. Ya know?

Front Page’s daughter Novella can hardly contain her excitement! Her favorite author, G.M. Berrow, will be joining us at Everfree Northwest 2016! Ms. Berrow is the brilliant author behind the MLP:FiM chapter books, AND her first episode of the show, “The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows” premiered this morning! We are thrilled to be able to help celebrate her episode debut with this awesome news! 

Write your own "Dear John" letter at EFNW

EFNW showed us how based they are last night, and this morning sent us a series of small announcements. First and foremost is the opportunity to send fan-mail to John DeLancie. Now, this wouldn't be a big deal, if not for the fact that John abandoned his twitter YEARS ago now, and has never returned to it. Beyond that, the Conbook Cover Contest ends this Friday so get on that.

Lee Tockar back on the scene

Well it's about damn time that Lee Tockar started making more convention appearances. According to a press release sent to us by Everfree Northwest, he'll be coming to Seattle in May. He's a total bro as we understand so definitely somebody you want to meet.

Top 50 Pony Music Countdown and EFNW Charity Auction Announcements

It's New Years Eve which means a few things. Firstly it means that there are mere hours left on the lifespan of a certain website. Additionally it means all sorts of end-of-the-year shenanigans, and that I don't feel like posting multiple press releases individually. Convention News Dump - EFNW, BABScon announcements

So over the weekend I've been gone and the rest of HN couldn't be arsed to care, but we have 2 pieces of convention news I guess. BABScon announced Brian and Brynna Drummond as future guests, and EFNW announced an Art contest. Also the BABScon panel/table/musician registration deadline is tomorrow. So get on that.
