Gallopagos Island accepting refugees from US Election

Following decisive victories by Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the South Carolina and Nevada primary elections, it is becoming clear that Pony-party candidate and glorious leader-in-exile Vermin Supreme may not be victorious in the 2016 United States election. This totally unexpected turn of events has lead many pony-party members to flee the country "before shit gets too fucked up".

The sovereign nation of Gallopagos Island has begun accepting political refugees from the "perfect storm of ignorance and social dissonance" that will continue to rage for the next 9 months in its neighboring nation.

"Our Town"s "official" name has been chosen

Last week MA Larson tweeted that he would leave it up to the fans to determine what the name of the town from the premier would be.

So we decided to solicit names and put it to a big official vote.

It's been 6 days, so we've decided to end the poll, and declare "Stalliongrad" the official winner.
Officially.

Stalliongrad beat out Larsontown, with a whopping 35% of the vote, making it a plurality.

If you didn't vote and hate the name? Too bad. This is it now.

Shorty Awards have begun - Time for pony flooding.

Every year, January becomes saturated with award shows to recap the previous year. Most of them are for things that the majority of us will never have a chance at. Things like Golden Globes...Grammys....Oscars....and so on. Well back in 2008 things changed, with the advent of "The Shorty Awards".

The shorty awards are awards for the internet. In particular, awards for twitter accounts and social media. Finally. Something everyone is eligible for.

About 48 hours ago, we reported the standing of Friendship is Magic being voted the most overrated animated series by thetoptens.com. In the same article we mentioned that the series also had a lower spot on the "best animated television series" list. You all changed that.

Results Are In: Season 4 - Most consistently inconsistent

Now that a few weeks have passed and all the judgements have been rendered, the results are in. Season 4 of My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic, experienced the most widely inconsistent swings in episode quality of any season, scoring with both the highest-ranked epsiode of the franchise, as well as the lowest.

As the fourth season of My Little Pony begins to wrap up this weekend with the episode before the two part finale, many fans of the show prepare to face the coming hiatus of episodes. Most, despite the lack of new official show content, are keeping up in spirit with an assortment of activities relating to the pastel ponies we all adore.

The official HNN poll, released this Friday, shows that almost 50% of readers will still be engaging in pony related activities this summer.
