Never Forget the Hiatus

Today is a grim reminder that on 11:30 EDT, July 18, 2015, Discovery Communications' President and CEO, David Zaslav, hijacked the programming and ran into the innocent, civilian ponies residing their home channel. However, it is also a time of hope as we need to join together, as one, to wait out these last 10 hours and rebuild and continue to enjoy this show.

This is not the first time that that the twin channel was attacked; on October 13, 2014, the channel required an immense amount of care after a re-brand was set off in the Hub's lot. To many, this attack echos many of the similar themes: both were masterminded and carried out by the same people, both attacked the same targets centered towards the same target in the North-East, and both had devastating consequences for leisure as a whole in the successive years. Due to the similar themes, many of the same people believe that the reason that this is the result of Discovery Communications trying to lessen Hasbro's influence.

While we may not be able to recover the entire leisure and comfort that was present before the events caused by the ruthless Discovery Communications, we can hope that "Discovery Family" can be rebuilt to rival the old twin channel of the "Hub". We never thought such a depressing day could come, but
