Season 5 Special Guest Announced!

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is no stranger to guest stars, featuring the vocal talents of John de Lancie and "Weird Al" Yankovic in previous seasons.

This season, the crew decided to kick it up a notch by bringing in the legendary Jean-Claude Van Damme himself.

Van Damme, a Belgian martial artist best known for his starring role in a number of action B-movies, will play the role of Jean-Claude Van Damme in the upcoming Season 5 episode.
Did somebody say "B-movie?"
From the short episode trailer, we were able to glean that the plot of the episode revolves around the return of fan-favorite villain Queen Chrysalis. The writers, deciding that using the whole Elements of Harmony thing again would just be lazy and generally poor writing (yeah, calling you out Larson and co.!), decide to make the ponies enlist the help of an experienced professional in fighting the renewed Changeling threat.

That "experienced professional," Van Damme, helps the ponies out in the way you'd expect a B-movie action star to help out: By kicking Changeling ass.

It is believed that this special episode will air either as the first episode of the new season or the season finale. Working titles for the episode so far include "Van Damme'd if You Do, Van Damme'd if You Don't" and "Untitled Queen Chrysalis Episode."

The leaked trailer for the episode can be seen here:

What, you thought we were serious?

  2. 9/10.
Would've given it higher marks, but Van Damme = >No Hooves...

    1. But he doesn't need feet and hands to do splits and improbable kicks. He'll do fine as a pony, this is clearly just an animatic.

  3. To be honest, Van Damme being a guest voice (but really only a voice) wouldn't actually be THAT weird, considering that Littlest Pet Shop just had Heidi Klum, of all people (or rather, of all rotten cunts). It would be much less... "unpleasant" too.

    1. What's interesting is that all the assets used in the video were given out by Van Damme as part of his contest, ASKING people to make movies with them. So why this was taken down, I have no fucking clue.
