  1. Thank you, Horse News, for properly posting the higher-res version of the comic, unlike Equestria Daily.

  3. I was a volunteer for BabsCon last year, and they did a terrible, terrible, terrible job on organizing us.

Hope they do good this time

    1. Was it like a North Korea work camp or was it like the Las Pegasus Unicon's disappearing act?

    2. They aren't. If anything, they're worse.

    3. Just very unorganized. The person in charge didn't know what do and volunteers couldn't find him most of the time.

And we barely got any benefits, had to work like 16 hours to get a single free meal or something.

Volunteer's benefit is amazing compare to last year, if you wanna be a volunteer maybe it's a good time.

    5. You still have to pay to get to work, that doesn't sit right with me.

Also why the hell are they posting this only a week before the con?

    6. To answer a few questions from above:
"You still have to pay to get to work, that doesn't sit right with me."

The staff fee goes towards covering most, but not all, of what's provided to staff during the convention. This includes the staff t-shirt and three meals a day during BABSCon. We're running on a tight budget and have to stretch the income from badges and vendors as far as possible. Having a staff fee allows us to do more for our attendees than we otherwise could.

"Also why the hell are they posting this only a week before the con?"

This was supposed to go out a while back, but somehow it was overlooked with everything else going on. BABS's staffing situation is good, but having additional assistance wouldn't hurt.
