Man At Arms forges youtube butthurt

Yesterday, a video appeared on the AWE me channel for the incredibly popular blacksmith show "Man At Arms: Reforged" that is relevant to our interests. On this clip, the team creates a vaguely My Little Pony inspired piece of weaponry/armor that has inflicted as much butthurt as it would real-hurt.

As is the case anytime that something pony related takes place, people became upset almost immediately. In this case, Man At Arms fans became upset that there was colorful horses on their subscriptions list, and pony fans got upset because Man At Arms fans were upset at THEM. Also, other pony fans were pissed because they made Rainbow Dash an armored Alicorn Princess, and spray painted a horse.

The video currently sits at 8441 approvals to 6798 dislikes, giving it just a slightly better approval rating than Barack Obama.

Lets take a look at some gems from the youtube comment wasteland

Ahhh youtube comments.
Good to the last drop.

  1. We don't even have to do anything to piss people off anymore. We can just sit around and wait for other people to do shit for us. I saw this pop up in my subscribers list the other day. Didn't even have to watch it to know it would have shit tons of dislikes and autists crying in the comments section.

    2. Doing without doing. Taoist mastery. ^^
Bronies are now the rocky shore which the insecure and immature suffer shipwreck on, challenging them to sit on a lonely island, reflecting on themselves.
It's a delicious irony that a fandom rich in troubled people would rustle the jimmies of so many equally troubled people who despise them.

  3. I don't like this episode of Man At Arms. Not because of the ponies, but because it was generally worse than the other episodes. They mostly have some cool ass blades resembling some animu shite, which is awesome, but this just had a fuckin imaginative "armor horn" for RD. Don't pick a show where there's no swords, simple as that.

  4. Delicious butthurt aside, couldn't they have at least tried forging something from the show? A random piece of horse-armor doesn't instantly make it related to MLP.

They could've, like, made a replica of Commander Hurricane's armor. I'd watch that shit.

  7. I fucking love this, even though I got off the horse about a year ago. Man At Arms is based as hell.

RD would never wear it though. Too frilly.

  8. The commenter parodizing the show's title did a mere mediocre job. People with a knack for this stuff will realize it has to be "My Little Bullshit - Unsubscribing Is Magic".
Of course, I don't expect better from someone who doesn't get the irony in voicing outrage that involves saying "My Little Bullshit". ^^

  9. As a blacksmith specializing in Bladesmithing I have to say this is one bad ass piece of weaponized armor. I would love to have that for my horses.

  11. Eh that's what happens when jerk offs judge books by their covers and preconceptions. They're afraid of what they don't understand and lash out at it and it just shows their own true immaturity.
