BABScon information for nor/mlp/eople - discount code and charity drive

Yesterday evening, an anon received an email for a promo code designed specifically for /mlp/-users who donated to the Lauren Faust Bottle Fund. The fact it was sent via email would indicate that it was intended only for usage by those who donated, but let's be serious here, it was being sent to 4chan users. It was leaked mere moments later to the public. The promo code provided in the email capped above and other information is below.

The promo code for 10 percent off admission to this slowly growing convention is:

We are told by one of the 30+ nor/mlp/eople that will be in attendance that the code is in-fact valid and not some sort of ruse. According to the BABScon website, preregistration ends 1 month from today (April 4, 2014), so there is only 4 weeks left to make up your mind if you want to go if you want to take advantage of this pirated promo code.

This promo code was provided as an incentive for anons who donated money to the bottle drive, as well as for the "Tracy Cage Charity Train" - a /mlp/-run charity merch table to support the RAINN organization. Capper tells us that, yes the rumors are true, and 4chan will in fact be raising money to support rape and abuse victims at the convention, and there is an online link to donate as well. The goal is $1000, and the drive ends in 47 days. Some items that will be available as "thank yous" for donations include t-shirts, postcards, buttons, art-prints, Pinkie Ponies (horse finger puppets), official merch, and "other random stuff" like these unofficial limited-run Tracy Cage Trading Cards.
