FOX cancels American Idol - Replaces with "American Bridle"

The non-basic-bitches of the world can breath a sigh of relief today, as FOX has announced the end of a long national nightmare. The everlasting ear-splitting Hell that was American Idol is set to be replaced in 2016 by a new show "American Bridle" that will focus on the underground world of horse-play.

Fox, realizing that the majority of Americans are completely fed up with watching a karaoke television show, seeks to capture some new-audience, once again being late to the game with an Equestrian-based reality television program.

Every week will feature contestants who will compete in standard horse-show competitions, and will be critiqued by 3 unnamed celebrity judges who have roots in the fetish, equestrian, and furry communities.

The specifics of the competitive portions of American Bridle are unknown, but an inside source tells us that there will be buggy-races, whippings, and a segment where viewers can text a number to call the contestant either a "good pony" or a "bad pony" to determine who goes on to the next round, and who gets punished.

Fox has begun casting for the new show, sending talent scouts to the International Pony Play Championships, The North American Pony Trainer Contest, and German sex dungeons conveniently located under electronic dance clubs nation-wide.

American Bridle is slated to premier in Fall 2016, shortly after the premier of Season 6 of My Little Pony.
