Tidbits: Rainbow Rocks, Rainbow Falls and Random Shit....oh and ANOTHER FUCKING ALICORN

It's time for tidbits on this Post-Bronycon Monday. First up, that goddamned thing above. That's right everybody it's time for more live action Equestria Girls money grabs so bend over and take it.
And then take a look at some other shit that's going down.
(way to not add a page break, Capper.  ~Critic)

Speaking of going down, Purple Tinker posted this handy dandy little graph, demonstrating mathematically (according to Tinker, we sure as hell didn't check it) that BronyCon's attendance has peaked and is now running downhill, now that they are far from being the only game in town.

Catie put out a new Friendship is recapped, keeping us entertained through the hiatus. Her hatred of Twilight Sparkle is apparent again.

Oh shit what the fuck am I looking at here. Oh fuck it's the animatic that was released recently. And, before the Season has even started, we already have confirmation of another god damned alicorn. Somebody fix this before it's too late.

Big Jim Miller got bored yesterday. And I mean REALLY bored yesterday.

He was on a long flight back to Vancouver from Baltimore and asked fans to ask questions to keep him entertained. And he answered them. Like, ALL of them.

Hopefully our combined efforts kept the man somewhat entertained, as his Sunday was apparently not wrought with excitement. Seen below is his press conference (which Horse News was not allowed to attend due to our revoked press passes and the rest of the media just...didn't).

The Five Guys in Baltimore was absolutely overrun with horsefuckers.

Babscon's preregistration for next year is open if you were wondering.

Apparently somebody is selling stocks in Horse News. Our IPO will be coming this week.

Now Back to your regularly Scheduled Hiatus.

  3. PT seems to be forgetting that the June 2012 convention had an occupancy limit and no at-door registration. Once they sold enough tickets to meet the building's capacity limit, that was that.

The 2012 Summer con could've been much larger if there weren't any capacity limits and at door registration, and that would've made the growth between Summer 2012 and 2013 much less significant.

    1. Actually, the cap of 4000 attendees was just barely reached within 48 hours of the con starting. And 99% of attendees knew there'd be no on-site reg, so that wasn't much of a factor (a few idiots showed up assuming they'd be able to buy tickets on-site, but they were VERY rare). With no venue cap, that con would have hit 4500, 5000 tops, even WITH on-site reg. But that would have only INCREASED the peak of its growth rate; it still would have plateaued.

So, even if Summer 2012 was 5000 or even 6000 people (HIGHLY unlikely, given that the previous event was a sub-1000 person affair), it wouldn't have changed the conclusion: We have reached peak SpaghettiCon™.

The Numark NS6 not plugged in via USB and they PUT THE VINYL LP ONTOP OF THE CDJ PLAYER while a band is playing on the background.

They nailed the current DJ generation

    1. Don't.
That's the press conference the current team deserves.

They will have a great press conference only after they do something deserving it.
