Robin Williams Dies At Age 63

Some very sad news for lovers of comedy and acting tonight, as Robin Williams has died at age 63.

Williams, known for his roles in iconic movies such as ‘Good Will Hunting’ and ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’,  was found dead of an apparent suicide in his Tiburon, California home. Williams starred in countless movies and television shows, but also did stand-up comedy. His latest work, the newest installment of 20th Century Fox’s ‘Night At The Museum,’ is unreleased and will be his last contribution to film and entertainment. Williams was suffering from deep depression for an unknown amount of time before his death, and overcame a drug and alcohol addiction several years ago.
4chan was united in their mourning of his passing with threads popping up on nearly every board, even those where the topic would not be considered relevant, including /mlp/.

We here at horse news are very saddened to hear of the passing of an icon, with our own members giving their own input.

DJ Calcos commented, “the man was more than just a great comedian; he was a world-class actor as well. His performances in films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Dead Poets Society, and Good Will Hunting (my personal favorite of his) truly show his incredible range in the art of performance. He may no longer be on this planet, but through his films, comedy routines, and endless amounts of inspiration, his legacy will live on forever."

Cameron said appropriately that, “he was the world’s number one dad.”

Smigglypuff expressed his sentiment, wishing that Williams “May find the peace he was looking for.” He then went on to say “You're finally free genie,” referencing Williams’ character in ‘Aladdin’

When asked about his feelings about Robins recent passing, Horse News Founder Jim stated "What channel is he on" assuming he was a TV personality, "I dont really watch tv. i just sit around 4chan all day and masturbate to pictures or cartoon characters."

And many others asked the question, “how could a man that so many thought so much of think so little of himself?”

Robin Williams was a great man, who helped shape the current entertainment landscape. The world will miss the actor, the mentor, and the friend.

  4. I think the real tragedy here is that after such a long career in comedy and acting, in the end it all funneled down to a Night At The Museum sequel.

  10. What if he played Ponyacci in S5? What if The Hub was keeping it under their hats until the season started: "Guess who's guest starring at Pinkie's next party?"
