MTV Documentary on Bronies

In their stance of actively trying to remove themselves from their name, Music Television produced yet another program about autistic people living together, only this time they're literally diagnosed with it. There's just one extra detail.

They love My Little Pony.

The documentary released in accordance with Autism Awareness Month is entitled "It's All About the Benjamins". While this actually sounds like a show created for BET, It's All About the Benjamins is actually about two autistic gay lovers brothers named Brad and Kenny Benjamin. The original clip we have here (which is cut off at the beginning) basically shows that the documentary is about the two learning to be independent, how hard it is to find cereal and plates, bullying awareness, all the useless bullshit that passes for entertainment on television.

Then at around the 7 second mark we get this.

>casual

It seems as though MTV has now tapped in to the lives of the average Everfree Network Staff Member Brony, and simply wants a more sympathetic tone for the show. Going with the autism joke the fandom has adopted seems like the perfect ploy.

Only now it seems their programming has gone full circle.

Horse-News would like to remind you that autism is a real problem, and MTV being in charge of this issue probably isn't the best idea conceived by a network.

    5. Although that was a pretty hearty dose of pastel equines, and it was B roll footage used specifically because of that fact, I'm still going to say overblown hype.

  4. Wow, for people whose interests lie outside the norm and struggle for acceptance and understanding these comments are tragically close minded and ugly. Shame on all of you, including this article's 'author'.
