Ashleigh Ball confirmed for BABScon - Every Mane 6 VA at one convention for the first time ever

Ashleigh Ball; voice actress for both Rainbow Dash and Applejack, and the lead singer for indie band Hey Ocean! will be making an appearance at BABScon in San Francisco in April. This will mark the very first time that the complete set every mane-6 voice actress are at the same convention at the same time.

Ashleigh is the subject of the soon-to-be-released documentary "A Brony Tale" by filmmaker Brent Hodge. Brent recently spoke with Horse-News about the premier, set to take place the weekend after the convention at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Brent expressed his excitement to be able to talk about the film with fans of the show prior to the premier, and is expected to make an appearance as well, being local to the San Francisco area.

Ashleigh, whose voice acting resume includes such roles as Blythe Baxter in Littlest Pet Shop, Oopsy Bear in Care Bears, Plum Pudding in Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Adventures, and Mary Test in Johnny Test, will join her fellow mane-6 voice actresses Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, and a special appearance by Tabitha St. Germain at the Bay Area Brony Spectacular. In addition, Cathy Weseluck (voice of Spike the Dragon and Mayor Mare) Nicole Oliver (voice of Princess Celestia and Miss Cheerilee) Peter New (voice of Big Macintosh) Brian Drummond (Voice of Ahuizotl and Mr. Cake) and Brynna Drummond (voice of Babs Seed) will also be in attendance. That's 9 VA's all in one place, which for the fandom is history in the making.

Ashleigh's band Hey Ocean! spent much of 2013 touring the United States after the successful funding of their world-tour kickstarter campaign in 2012. The band made an appearance at Fiesta Equestria in Houston Texas in 2013, marking the most recent time that Ashleigh has made a pony-convention appearance.

In celebration of her appearance, BABScon has released a promo code for pre-registration (which ends on April 4)
Promo code: MANE6COMPLETE

  1. I'd hardly count Tabitha doing a single panel via teleconference as her "being in the same place." Has she been physically present at ANY pony con to date?

    1. Tabitha was at Everfree Northwest 2012, I believe. And one of the Comic Cons, and possibly others.

    2. I vaguely remember her being at EQLA 2013, but I'm not sure. But she's definitely been at cons before.

    3. She was at Bronycan, but she lives where that con was.

  2. Yeah, Tabitha is going to be there via Skype. There's gonna be a lot of disappointed attendees. All the mane six? Doesn't count unless they're all actually there.
