Top-10 MLP Easter Eggs list by Hasbro Execs

Earlier today, a tweet by Andrea Libman alerted us to a top-10 list on a website called "Kidzworld" written by Hasbro Vice President of Development Mike Vogel and Executive Director Brian Lenard.
In it, we get confirmation of many of the references that have been speculated about for years, and a couple more.

Among the list of easter eggs, we get confirmation once and for all, which character Future Twilight was referencing. According to the writers, her outfit is a reference to Snake Pliskenn from "Escape from New York" (and not any of his parodies or Solid Snake).

Other references are less-obvious

#1 brings hope that Derpy's name will return to canon, and no longer leave her as "Muffin Symbol".

  1. Hasbro loves the Derp.

  2. The Derp sells. We want to buy her. Hasbro cares about that a fuck sight more than some upset soccer moms.

    1. But do they care enough to be bold and use her original name?

    2. Which name was first, though? Was it Derpy Hooves or Ditzy Do? I don't remember anymore.

    3. Derpy.

When Lauren Faust was told about Derpy, she mentioned another character who was very clumsy called Ditzy Doo but said everyone can call her Derpy if they wanted to.

  3. This is some kung-fu level of pandering.

    1. And you're engaging in some kung-fu level of overthinking.

Faggot, you're so behind the times. Pandering is so season 2.

  4. 1. How does this bring hope that Derp's name is returning to canon (or as I like to think, being made public again as it always was canon)?

    2. Written by the heads of Hasbro, this site is? Hm. Capper. This makes me wonder if there are others. You ought to investigate this. You might find and be able to put something serious on here during the hiatus.
