HN reads FIMfiction: A Q&A With Regidar

There is a site in the community you may have heard of. It's a little place called FIMfiction.net.
On that site is a shitton of fanfiction. Some of it is good. Then there's the rest of it.
There is a man who writes some of this fanfiction. His name is Regidar. One of the HN writers actually wanted to know more about him and didn't want to sift through 680 blog posts to do it.
You can read it below (we corrected about 40 spelling mistakes)
HN: When did you join the fandom?

Regidar: So I was actually pretending to be a part of the fandom just from internet memes I saw around  in early 2012.so I was actually pretending to be a part of the fandom just from internet memes I saw around  in early 2012. I was a furry back then, and there seemed to be a correlation between the two. given how many furries are bronies and vice versa. ( pls don’t kick me out for being a furfag k, I don't even fur that much anymore and I was young(er) and autistic(er) ).after a while of pretending, one morning I woke up and saw my sister was watching it on netflix and because I didn’t really have an excuse anymore, I went and watched it I fell in love with the show and went on to sperg all over the internet, that's about it.

HN: What do you do for the fandom?

Regidar: I write, I write pretty much anything; I run the gambit from comedy to tragedy, clop to cute I'm most well known for my comedy stories, and my prolificy; I have 121 stories posted on fimfiction.net, and last I checked, that was the highest number of published stories by any one user on the site.

HN:how did you fine /mlp?

Regidar: I had known of 4chan's existence for quite some time, but as a typical moron, only acknowledged it as "that place where all the fucked up shit happens" people assumed I had come from it given the nature of my writing and my demeanor as a "troll" at the time, so I just played along I pretended I was a /b/tard, not knowing the true gravity of that I really got to know /mlp/ through the thread simulators then I thought "that place looks pretty funny I'll go there" then I thought "that place looks pretty funny I'll go there" so I went immediately I learned that everything I had ever done and my whole attitude towards the fandom in general was completely wrong and I had to change it immediately

Well, I started off as a comedy/trollfic writer after a while, I started branching out into more serious stuff I've got a terrible attention span, and stick to one shots, usually I am planning on writing bigger, more legitimate stories I eventually want to get the point where I make a big impact on the fandom I'm already somewhat popular on fimfiction, and I'd like to achieve even more; a lot of people still view me as an immature moron who writes useless, petty things I've been doing my best to break that I've got a big project in the works that I collaborated on with many other successful and talented writers on the site, and once the school term finished up for me I plan on publishing it I also write for some of the generals on /mlp/, and I'd like to get back into that I also write for some of the generals on /mlp/, and I'd like to get back into that. I'm terribly lazy with those generals and they need content, so I want to stop sucking so hard and help them out.

HN:What do you have plans for your work in the future of the fandom?

Regidar: Well, back in the fall of 2012, I noticed that a lot of stories on fimfiction were going without getting a rating, a favorite, or a comment in my delusions, I thought that I'd be the one to remedy this I gave them a read, and upvoted/downvoted, faved if I liked, and gave them a comment I gave them a read, and upvoted/downvoted, faved if I liked, and gave them a comment after a while, people started to notice me around I became a sort of site pet however, after a while, my comments became annoying, and uninspired and sometimes all people would get on their fics was someone posing ">inbe4 regiderd" before I posted.

HN: What was it like when you first joined the brony fandom?

Regidar: Autistic, my first fandom contributions were a parody of Still Alive for Cupcakes and a list of reasons why rainbow dash is sexy I then went on to write cliched fanfics with self inserts and anime-esque battles and edginess my comedies were poorly modeled after smosh-type humor and my first big fic was, indeed, a crossover with smosh I cringe even thinking of those days and yet there is a nostalgia I miss the times when i could just bask in the show and not care about appearances sadly, in order to be a functional human being, i had to drop the sperging.

HN: Will you ever leave?

Regidar: I think about it sometimes, but honestly, i don't see myself getting off i'll probably linger for a few years after the show ends hopefully by then i am a published author of original fiction I suppose, no matter hoe hard i try, i'll never forget my roots though.
