Convention gets lucky, invites you to join in, /mlp/-run panel announced

BABScon continues their news onslaught that is currently making up a solid 40% of all interesting news coming out of the fandom that isn't directly tied to MDE scammers. Tonight they announce their latest festive activity, in celebration of a holiday that few Americans truly understand, but still love to use as an excuse to get obliterated drunk and dress in green. In addition they release the master events schedule, so that you can know what to look out for.

So BABScon is giving away a 3-day pass to whoever makes the best artwork of the BABScon OC Golden Gates in a St. Patrick's Day theme. Our idea of St. Patrick's themes include green beer and multiple arrests, but that's probably not what they're going for here. You should probably stick to incorporating 4-leaf clovers.

You know what you must do.

To enter you must  tweet your image to @babsconsf with the tag #luckoftheirish. Winner gets picked at 4pm PST on Tuesday. Speaking of a convention getting involved with 4-leaf-clover communities, BABScon released their official convention schedule , letting everyone know when to plan on using the bathrooms and get some lunch and maybe even take a nap (Saturday at 2:00 PM seems to be a good bet). 

Events not to be missed include the Writers panels (5:00 PM Friday and 10:30 AM Saturday), the Director Panel on 10 am Sunday (if you're not dead from the previous night's alcohol consumption) and the VA Panels at 12:15 PM Saturday and 11:45 AM Sunday.

Also of note is a mysterious little panel titled "Information Without Title Creates Interesting Random Dialogue", being held at Midnight on Friday. This is the long-rumored /mlp/ run panel regarding (supposedly) some highlights from the history of the fandom that you may not have heard about, and lots of complaining. There is also a rumor of a special guest joining the panel. The same group of nor/mlp/eople are also running a merch table as a fundraiser for RAINN. Donations can also be made through this website. So far the effort has raised over $400 towards their $1000 goal. All donations are tax-deductible.
