One of the theories that arose from this was that ALL of our favorite ponies, and Rarity, were going to become Alicorn princesses due to their special bond (or immortality, or Celestia's demands, or blah blah blah). Most believed this to be only a myth or completely fake, but let's not forget that Twilicorn, Equestria Girls, AND IT'S SEQUEL were false as well. Yes, the proposed idea of all the girls becoming Alicorns was completely outrageous...until now that is.

[internal sigh] You know what? It's probably nothing, right? Just some faggot anon on /mlp/ looking to rustle some jimmies with a faked pic. So we here at Horse-News forced our slave cum dumpster intern Scoots to validate this in the last episode. And it's true folks, it's absolutely there.
In the shitty left over number from Equestria Girls that was put in Pinkie Pride, skip to 20 MINUTES 33 SECONDS and you'll see Alicorn Rarara in all her glory. Alright, so this could just be another animation error, correct. We've had tons and tons of these things, including several Alicorn errors, two of which have appeared this season. However, this has never happened on a major character, and the speculations surrounding all of the characters becoming Alicorns is just to great. Many have suggested that the puppet, or vector, or whatever you animators call it, from the last episode was accidentally placed in here in a hurry. Another thought is that a total bro-tier animator is warning of us as shit to come. However, with out any other info, we should assume this is just a another-

DeleteThing is that most people that are still in the fandom and watching don't actually give any shits about quality at all. I mean, most of the fandom actually thinks EG was good, even /mlp/ has such people. S3 and S4 are both weak seasons and pretty much everyone goes around claiming everything's great. No matter what bullshit Hasbro pulls at this point, these people are going to rationalize it, ignore it or just claim that it was good. It's basically a semi-religious following at this point.

It worked for Twilight because it was part of her thematic arc, but it wouldn't work at all for the others, their goals don't include being royalty. Their goals that were attainable and down to earth, that made them all relatable in the first place. It would homogenize them all and ruin the show.
