William Shatner visits /mlp/

If a tree falls in a forest Captain Kirk posted on 4chan, and no one was around to troll him, does it even count?

Back in 2013, the board would have eaten itself alive, knowing that someone like William Shatner was lurking among them. Today, we got a real sense of just how slow things have gotten, as few anons were even around to take notice.

Nonetheless, Shatner himself publicly waded into the clop forest willingly and stayed there for a while.

He didn't seem too impressed by what he found there

Specifically, it appears he was lurking in the Merch thread, as well as MLPG, who upon learning that fact, attempted to send him messages that went unanswered.
Only a few dozen messages were posted directed towards the Star Trek star however, a sharp contrast to the 2013 visit of Lauren Faust, which essentially destroyed the board entirely through digital autocannibalism.

Granted, he posted in the middle of the day on a Monday during hiatus and also was not posting with a name to identify himself.

Mr Shatner, we would like to recommend Extra Strength Clorox for your eyeballs, it's the only thing that gets it all out.

  1. This is the part where Equestria Daily and Derpibooru suddenly start attacking him out of spite and butthurt because once again, somebody chose /mlp/ over their echo chambers?

    2. That's really a great story but when busy students get short of time to draft assignments gratefully. Well, having CIPD assignment writing service to perform better in studies and scoring good results.

  3. Over on EqD it was mostly facepalming. /mlp/ is a dumpster fire and everyone knows it.

That being said, Shatner isn't stupid. Undoubtedly someone, somewhere, told him once upon a time that 4chan is a disaster zone. It was discovering that /mlp/ was a burning trash heap that probably mildly surprised him.

    2. Not like Equestria Daily itself isn't a dumpster fire as well. Hell the staff there shill so hard they still defend IDW after all the shit they've pulled the past couple of years.

    4. No doubt. Has anyone ever noticed on how they keep posting new rules and regulations on their discussion boards? It's like the site practicaly tells you to only say things that they feel are acceptable and not to question anything else pertaining to the fandom at all.

At least on Derpibooru you have at least a little bit of freedom to discuss topics as long as your not a complete doushebag about it.

      At least on D
