    1. Shit directors + shit writers = shit season.

Other season had their fair share of duds, but this one was the worst of all.

    2. @10:46 Can't argue that. It feels like the writers/directors went out of their way to appeal to the fanbase instead of writing a quality story. Only episodes I can say I really enjoyed this season were Gauntlet of Fire and Buckball Season.

Jim Miller said he makes a show for little girls and the adult fans can go fuck themselves.
He protected his Twitter account to try hiding that tweet (he was talking to Sibsy) but it got capped and leaked anyway.

So no, this season was plain shit and the fanbase had no part on that.

Didn't he also say something about not seeing a problem with bringing popular characters back for the sake of them being popular and nothing else or something along those lines around the time of the hiatus?

Either way it a moot point. We agree it's shit and shit is shit no matter how you look at it.

I remember him saying the show doesn't pander to adult fans and if they added characters like Derpy or Vinyl Scratch was because they wanted to and the fans had no influence on it.
Sounds like bullshit to me considering how this season had a whole episode dedicated to mock and attack fans who criticrize the show or compare it to older seasons.

Either way, Jim turned out to be a whiny faggot, and with a man like him directing the cartoon you cannot expect anything but lowgrade material.

His only directing experience was Ed, Edd and Eddy, which was a cheap, crappy cartoon. Evidently, directing FiM is too much for him but he refuses to admit that.

Maybe that's it. It feels like forever and I don't pay attention to the staff twitter feeds.
