BRONYCON ANNOUNCES ACTOR JOHN DE LANCIE

(BALTIMORE)—BronyCon hopes to bring a little chaos to the Baltimore Convention Center this Summer by bringing the voice of Discord, John de Lancie, to its Aug. 7-9 event!

De Lancie is an American actor, producer, musician and writer that many of you will recognize largely as the prominent villain-turned-friend Discord from “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.”

Outside of MLP, other major roles by de Lancie include Q in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and “Star Trek: Voyager,” Colonel Frank Simmons in “Stargate SG-1” and Donald Margolis in “Breaking Bad.”

These are just a few of de Lancie’s credits in his extensive career in theater and film arts, so be sure to visit BronyCon’s guest page to learn more about him and other guests coming to Baltimore this Summer!

    1. OP, if you haven't noticed, de Lancie has been booking a tour through the brony convention circuit recently. This announcement has the same weight as a traveling Broadway show stopping into Baltimore.

    2. A pipe dream nowadays. Would be great if she did come back, but her ties to the show are really loose right about now compared to 2012.

    3. I think it's pretty clear that Lauren wants nothing to do with FIM. She even said that she hasn't watched anything past S1.

    1. On the contrary; when _I_ announced John de Lancie, it was actually impressive.

Oh, and I got Lauren too.

    2. Lauren wants nothing to do with bronies these days, so...

    3. Not quite. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/wlc-fundraiser-for-fans-of-my-little-pony

She did EQLA after BronyCon also, so props to EQLA.

    4. It's not bronies Lauren has a problem with, nor me (hell, she appeared on my radio show a few months ago). I think she's just burned out on the whole pony thing. Her separation from MLP was... not pleasant. Dealing with Hasbro will do that. Executive meddling, etc. etc. etc.

    5. so lauren doesn't hate you yet but I wonder how long until she follows suit with ashley ball, maud's va, amy keating rodgers

I notice that the current head of bronycon hasn't been thrown out on his ass for verbally assaulting his staff so I'd say he's still doing better than the dickless wonder in that regard too

    6. Boy, sure is Josh Dean in here.

Lauren has described me as an "old friend".

Ashleigh? Ashleigh and I have never had any issues at all. Not sure what you smokin, anon.

AKR? We had a brief argument, long since resolved. We've since done charity work together ( see http://i.imgur.com/ttUFhWq.jpg ). Apparently, having one argument with someone at one point in the past equals hatred now? Anon, pls.

Literally the only person you mentioned who actually dislikes me is Ingrid Nilson. And the feeling's mutual. (Incidentally, her continual promotion of homophobic shitstick TaoOfMaud rubbed a number of current con orgs the wrong way as well. So, yeah.)

    7. good thing we have lots of other proof aside from just your word that these people are no longer angry at you despite publicly decrying you on twitter in the recent past

it's not like you have a history of lying or alienating huge swaths of people with your horrible persona

    8. I'd love to see this "proof", so out with it.

  4. "Finally here" so how long did PT keep this poor person waiting for their prize this time? Will it beat her current record of two years and counting?

PT, you're fooling no one, a retweet of someone else's brag hardly constitutes "doing charity work together". In all likelihood she was retweeting it to show how fucking long you kept this poor sap waiting for his goods. Probably with a follow-up tweet that went something like "Wow look at this dumbass half-ass her lame duck charity events"
